5ª sesión del 21 de abril "THE HUNGER GAMES"

El pasado 21 de abril, a petición de varios de nuestros alumnos de Profundiza, vimos "THE HUNGER GAMES" ("Los juegos del hambre"). Los alumnos vieron la película atentamente, pero no pudimos llevar a cabo el debate porque la película es muy larga y para cuando acabó algunos de los alumnos se tenían que ir. Quedamos en hacerlo en la próxima sesión (el 27 de abril) al principio de la sesión. De todas formas, os pego el debate que hicimos el 27, junto con algunas fotos y vídeos.

4)     In your opinion, in which conflict or conflicts are the book and film inspired?

5)     Why is the state divided into Districts? What do you think districts symbolize?

6)     Why does the title of the film and the book mention “hunger”? How does “hunger” appear in the story?

7)     Which are the negative aspects of this imaginary society?

8)     The film is a critic to the political system in general, but also to reality shows. What do you think of reality TV (Big Brother, Survivor, etc.)?

9)     What do you think you would do if you were in a similar situation and you had to kill people to survive?
